Looking for parking in Teror — ideally free? Parking in Teror (Gran Canaria) is easy when you know where to go: there is free parking a short walk from Plaza del Pino plus a blue zone in the centre. The options, from most convenient to most central:
🅿️ Open ground on the Teror–Las Palmas main road — free dirt car park about 200 metres from Plaza del Pino. Spacious and rarely full on weekdays: our default recommendation. From the car to our table it's a flat 3–4 minute walk.
🅿️ Behind the Town Hall — free spaces right in the centre. Great if you find a spot, but it's small and fills up early.
🅿️ Los Perales — free car park next to Monseñor Socorro school. A slightly longer walk, but it usually has space when the centre is full.
🔵 Blue zone and the Avenida Néstor Álamo car park — if you prefer regulated parking as close as possible to the old town. Remember the ticket in the blue zone.
📅 Sunday, market day — the town fills up from mid-morning. Two strategies that work: arrive before 10:00 (and have breakfast with us while the town wakes up), or park on the main-road ground and enjoy the short walk up.
🎉 Fiesta del Pino (early September) — the town is completely packed and streets are closed: those days the bus is the comfortable option, with regular Global lines connecting Teror with Las Palmas and nearby towns.
🚗 Getting here — from Las Palmas it's about 20 minutes on the GC-21 (a beautiful drive, by the way). The old town is pedestrianised or traffic-calmed, so once parked everything is walkable.
The restaurant is at Plaza de Sintes, Local 4 — a couple of minutes on foot from any of these car parks. See you soon!
